Production Supervisor - Casting Department

At Dinosaur Designs, I work within the heart of the studio’s creative process; shaping, casting, and crafting each piece by hand while guiding a team through the meticulous rhythms of high-volume art-making. My role blends design thinking with hands-on making: managing daily workflows, refining casting processes, and ensuring every object embodies the brand’s distinctive visual identity.

In the casting department, I oversee the transformation of raw resin into the sculptural forms the brand is known for. Balancing colour, texture, finish, and form to maintain consistency across collections. I’ve also contributed to the creation of bespoke, one-off pieces, including custom tables, sculptural objects, and trophies, where precision and artistry converge.

Working closely with designers, makers, and internal stakeholders, I carry creative intention through the entire production cycle. Ensuring that each product, from small-batch pieces to large wholesale runs, reflects the brand’s values of craftsmanship, bold design, and material storytelling.

My work has also featured in national campaigns, contributing to promotional social based videos showcased by Vogue Living and Broadsheet, highlighting the artistry and process behind the collections. For both of these I was filmed within the workplace going through the process of casting. I liaised with the in house marketing and PR to the external film crews.

This experience has shaped my approach to design: detail-driven, collaborative, process-oriented, and deeply connected to material exploration.
